Philippines set a training camp in Japan for preparing the Sea Games 2011

Team Azkals have prepared very well to participate in the next edition of Sea Games 2011 in Indonesia.

After missing out on the last two editions of the SEA Games in 2009 (Laos) and 2007 (Thailand), Philippines are preparing seriously by planning to head to Japan as a possible training ground, before heading to Jakarta at the end of this year.

The president of the Philippines Football Federation (PFF), Mariano Araneta, confirmed that Japan will be a possible place to hold training camp for a week in October.

Several experienced players from senior team are still eligible for this tournament like goalkeeper Neil Etheridge and midfielders Jason de Jong, Manuel Ott, Yannick Tuason and Simon Greatwich, with their present into U-23 Philippines can increase the confidence to be able to achieve maximum results in the Sea Games 2011.

The 26th edition of Sea Games will be hosted by Indonesia in the end of this year. Will also be held in two cities Jakarta and Palembang.
