Singapore national team are feeling confident about their first match to face China, despite speculation that playing against a China side trained by former Spain coach Jose Camacho might be their fall. Based on good performance by The Lions in a few games lately, some peoples believe that Radojko Avramovic and his men can ride on the momentum generated and return from Kunming with a good result.
Quoted from Today, Isa Halim spoke of the belief running in the Lions' camp, Singapore midfielder said : "After the two games against Malaysia, the spirit is very high, and I don't think we will be resoundingly beaten here.
"Playing for your country gives you a feeling that is second to none, and those of us who step out onto the field won't let that happen.
"We will fight till the end."

Isa was called up to replace Hariss Harun in the Lions' midfield, taking over defensive duties performed with such elan by the 21-year-old against ASEAN champions Malaysia. Hariss had to miss the game in China along with several colleagues like the defender Ismail Yunos (knee injury), goalkeeper Leonel Lewis (niggling groin injury) and forward Fazrul Nawaz (personal commitments).
"China's new coach has not been with the team for very long, and maybe that's where we have the advantage," added Isa.
"Raddy knows our team inside out and is very familiar with the players."
