Ahead of the first match of the Singapore national team in the third round of World Cup qualifier against China, the Lions were worried by soundness of their coach Radojko 'Raddy' Avramovic. The 61 years old man came down with fever and was in bed most of the time.
But the team manager of Singapore national team, Eugene Loo said that Avramovic would be ready for the team's training today.
"It is nothing serious and he should be okay," said Loo.
"Fortunately, it was a day off for us and he was able to rest in his room."
The preparations of the Lions have been smooth, whereas the Chinese press have been tracking the team last, they have been respectful, be off during the closed door training session and following to instructions not to interview the players during rest breaks.
"The Chinese Football Association have been very helpful and it has helped us focus on the match," said Loo.
There will be an exhausting week for Singapore, they will be at home at Saturday to face their next opponent Iraq at Jalan Besar stadium on next Tuesday.
"There is hardly time for rest as we are supposed to check into the Amara Hotel on Sunday. The good thing is we will be in better physical condition playing at low level after Kunming," said Loo.
